Romance Meets The Eye

  I find myself mesmerized deep within your eyes, so captivating is your iris. They’re attached to such lovely eyelids. Could we perhaps share the affinity, I wouldn’t mind thinking about you endlessly. Sometimes I often wonder what the future holds, yet I came across someone who’s truly beautiful. They say the best things in life come without a sign, with you I can’t wait to share some time. Maybe together? We could take a trip and admire the weather. So I could be in tuned with your grace, doesn’t matter the time and place. I’m sure you’re everything and much more, the world’s open to explore. Life itself we could savor, as I compose this poem in melodies sung in a sweet sound of a prayer.

Who was I to think we shared and enjoyed the same passion. When it came time to speak, it was breathless you were absent. Was there a common place for honesty, I was foolish to find your presence comforting. Tell me why did it all even matter, the pictures of us in my head. I grew fond of us enjoying laughter. Why must we be so hollow, emotions find peace in sorrow. My reflection once elated, now resembles a ghostly Casper. Would you please just exit the stage, because you’re quite one hell of an actor.   My passion is as serene the nightfall. Sometimes I’m conflicted by my emotions, words never unspoken but could they happen to reach you. At times it’s as if I’m a silhouette, oh what it would it give to be transparent. My love is an open canvas, could you picture it being see through. On my darkest days, please don’t forsake me if I need you. I could be an open book, but please don’t judge me before you look. Similar to the moon phases, with time let the cycles heal our scars. As we turn the page to the next chapter, our story could rewrite our place amongst the stars. ⭐️  

  I don’t wish to escape your divinity. Lifetime after lifetime, to the heavens I yearned for you endlessly. So just please bless me with your presence, your grace is truly what the definition of awe is. Your beauty leaves me in a trance, the fiber of your being is truly flawless. I would never cast my heart to stone, as your aura sends chills to my bone. Your affection could bring life to the heartless, for an eternity I tribute to you my dear Goddess.

  Tell me in which season we would choose to blossom, cause a spring full of your affection. I would fall for a summer of your embrace until it’s Autumn. Would you care for me gently, not carelessly. So we could be deeply rooted in each other’s company. When I’m with you, I get lost within the hours. A shower of your love drips on my petals, as the rain nurtures the soul of our flower.

  Let the rhythm take control of me, each beat resonates deep within soul. Every vibration is such a blissful sensation, my body burns hotter than a bed of coal. Turn the base real loud and ignite the crowd, let the energy just consume us whole. Can I feel no regret, I just can’t stop till I work up     a sweat. The vibe is right, so let the night never end. Oh DJ put all my favorite songs on replay, I don’t wish to escape this trance. Till the sun comes up, and until I had enough. All I want to do is just dance.

  Infatuation can only go so deep. Temptation is on my pupils, I can’t help but forsake the lust upon my iris. If I close my eyes, love chooses to appear when I’m blinded. A lifetime of affection on your watch, however would it be so timeless. Endlessly like a river flows to the sea, I hope to treasure your empathy. Vividly I’d give every ounce of my own sympathy, to see your smile shine ever so graciously. Faithfully I would keep every secret, that’s meant for you and me. Hold me by the stake if I lie, cause it would pain my soul to see you cry. If I share with you my life’s story, I promise it would help you less worry. I wouldn’t hesitate to show you my humility, as I present to you the beauty of vulnerability.
